Delk was drafted #16 by the Charlotte Hornets in the 1996 NBA Draft. He played for the Hornets from 1997 to 1997 and then the Golden State Warriors from 1997 to 1999.
Delk played for the Sacramento Kings from 1999 to 2000, the Phoenix Suns from 2000 to 2002, the Boston Celtics from 2002 to 2003, the Dallas Mavericks from 2003 to 2004, the Atlanta Hawks from 2004 to 2006, and the Detroit Pistons from 2004 to 2006. He finished his career playing in Greece from 2006 to 2007 and in Puerto Rico in 2008. In 2007 he won the Euroleague championship with Panathinaikos. Delk served as an assistant coach at Kentucky from 2009 to 2011 and New Mexico State from 2011 to 2013.
